What inspired you to pursue a career in IT?
My brother, a computer engineer, introduced me to the world of video games and programming early on.
In 2017, I completed my master’s degree in Information and Web Technologies. After a few years of experience, I joined Sopra Steria Switzerland in February 2022.
Can you give us an overview of your role?
I’m a Business Analyst. My role involves analyzing client needs, helping them formalize their requirements, and translating those into clear and understandable specifications for the development teams.
I start my day by checking my emails, then I attend the daily stand-up with the team. Developers often reach out to me with functional questions related to ongoing developments.
At the same time, I write specifications for upcoming features. I also test completed developments and provide feedback when adjustments are needed.
What aspect of your job do you find most rewarding?
What I enjoy most about my work is analyzing, advising, and especially finding solutions that meet users’ needs.
I also enjoy regularly discovering new professional contexts and seeing ideas take shape—from the initial analysis workshops all the way to production deployment.
What matters to you in your career development at Sopra Steria?
Managers are attentive and ensure that my assignments run smoothly. They also support my professional training to help me grow within the company.
Do you have any advice for recent graduates?
Don’t be afraid to ask questions. In a company, no one expects you to know everything. It’s better to ask a question than to stay stuck.
