When did you start your job at Sopra Steria Switzerland?
I started my job as a Project Manager at Sopra Steria in September 2022. Among other things, I`m responsible for Traffic Management Systems in Switzerland, which operate at the interfaces between field, operations and maintenance. My background of 15 years of experience in different roles in industrial projects is beneficial in many aspects. To work with teams in my neighborhood on highly specific every day`s applications, boosts my motivation most.
What is important to you when it comes to developing your career at Sopra Steria?
Developing my career is important and I`d like to highlight two main aspects. First, professional development, which for me means acquiring new technical skills, e.g. by deepening new technologies and concepts and contributing to solutions. And second, personal growth, including methodological development, to be able to design the system efficiently and to be able to make well-founded decisions. I strive for a collaborative and supportive environment that offers opportunities for leadership and communication.
Which aspect of your job do you particularly enjoy and why?
I like diversity and responsibility. As a project manager, I am in daily contact with people in different roles and with different requirements, internally as well as externally, technically and personally. This requires a high degree of ability to act flexibly and appropriately according to the situation and to keep the common goal in focus. Like everyone else, I am happy when something succeeds.
What does freedom mean to you?
For me, freedom primarily serves to protect a personal situation and equal treatment in society in everyday (working) life. I am happy to have the opportunity to shape my professional life at my desire. I find participation, innovation and developing a supportive culture extremely important. That`s why I`m happy to work for Sopra Steria.
