How does your work contribute to your clients’ activities?
My work supports a railway company’s daily operations by providing software for individual and group reservations as well as capacity management. These solutions help the railway company efficiently plan, allocate and monitor available capacity, while ensuring that reservations are processed accurately and reliably. As an employee of the railway company and a user of these services myself, I can directly experience the impact of our work, which makes our contribution especially tangible and meaningful.
What kind of challenges do you enjoy solving?
I enjoy solving challenging and technically complex problems that allow me to dive deeper into a topic and learn something new. I approach unfamiliar challenges with curiosity and see them as opportunities to grow, improve and continuously develop my skills.
What gives you the most satisfaction in your role?
What gives me the most satisfaction is enabling my team to work efficiently and without unnecessary obstacles. As Lead Developer, I take responsibility for the technical aspects of the project while supporting my colleagues when challenges arise. Seeing the team make steady progress together, deliver high-quality results and successfully complete major releases on time is especially rewarding.
What kind of impact would you like to have in your future assignments?
In my future assignments, I would like to continue taking on a leading role, contributing to important technical decisions while working closely with my team. I want to support the team’s growth, share knowledge and gain new experiences together. Being able to see the real-life impact of our work is also important to me, especially when I am a user of the solutions myself.
