When did you start your job at Sopra Steria Switzerland?

I joined Sopra Steria in Lyon in 2018, where I started as a Tech Lead in one of the Delivery Centers for SNCF.

I was given responsibility for other roles in various areas: Scrum Master, solution design, architecture, team recruitment, project audits, junior coaching...

Later on, I moved to Switzerland for family reasons, which gave me the opportunity to join our subsidiary in Lausanne.

What aspect of your work do you find the most rewarding?

IT is a fascinating field that allows us to work with a variety of clients.

We need to understand their business, their challenges, and their constraints. Thanks to my broad set of skills, I can take on different roles and design solutions that have a real impact on users’ daily lives.

This has given me the opportunity to work with train drivers, social workers, notaries, network operators, university administrators, investment bankers... Each profession brings its own set of challenges and keeps the work constantly engaging.

What is important to you in the development of your career at Sopra Steria?

What matters most to me is working with experienced people who can help me grow every day and challenge me.

I particularly enjoy the diversity of topics I can work on. Team cohesion and a positive work atmosphere are, in my view, essential. Although I continually update my skills — particularly in cloud, AI, and cybersecurity — it’s through working alongside my colleagues that I’ve learned the most.

What gives you the feeling of freedom in your day-to-day work?

Since joining Sopra Steria, I've had two children. Like many mothers, balancing family life and professional commitments has sometimes been a real challenge. That is why I am grateful to work in an environment where I am trusted and cared for.

My manager greatly facilitated my return to work. Thanks to targeted training, I was able to resume my activities calmly and confidently, while staying in tune with the rapid developments in the IT world.
