When did you start your job at Sopra Steria?

I joined Sopra Steria in 2020 in France and two years later, I joined the Swiss teams thanks to an internal transfer. I wanted to move to discover a new country. The landscape, culture, and quality of life in Switzerland appealed to me straight away. When I joined the team in Lausanne, I was trained on Appian, a low-code platform, so that I could join a team as a developer.

What is important to you when it comes to developing your career at Sopra Steria?

The support, benevolence, and trust of my managers. Since I started working at Sopra Steria, I've been surrounded by managers who challenge me. This helps me to understand my strengths and to bring them to the fore in my day-to-day activities. I also get feedback on the skills I can improve. Thanks to this support, I'm guided in the best possible way to evolve within the company and develop my professional career.

Which aspect of your job do you particularly enjoy and why?

Reflecting, advising and creating solutions for users are what I enjoy most in my work to day. I spend a lot of time talking to people in the business and with colleagues, to understand and define the customer`s expectations, devise appropriate solutions, then plan and implement them.

Today, my work allows me to meet and exchange ideas with many people. These moments are enriching from both a professional and personal point of view, as I can discover new professions and deepen my knowledge.

What does Freedom mean to you?

The freedom to express myself and suggest things for my employer are essential to me. I was able to take part in workshops to discuss subjects that serve the improvement and development of the corporate culture. These moments of exchange with other colleagues enabled us to drive ideas and innovation. We were able to freely express our expectations and opinions to support our management.
